Deputy Chief of Training Made Mark with Innovation During COVID Pandemic and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Training Program

The award honors training officers for exemplary conduct and dedication to their fire department’s training program. Neubecker, the deputy chief of training, earned this recognition after working tirelessly to coordinate training for local fire agencies on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), as well as his innovative training solutions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

SAN DIEGO – TargetSolutions, a Vector Solutions brand providing public safety’s leading online training and operations management system, partnered with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to offer new learning opportunities to volunteer fire, EMS and rescuers at no cost.

Ten of TargetSolutions’ courses were selected from the online course library to give all members of the NVFC access to essential firefighter continuing education training. These courses use videos, case studies and the most up-to-date procedures to allow personnel to review awareness and refresher level topics.
